                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
                   ADDENDUM TO THE AGREEMENT WITH DOWNS
                   ENGINEERING, INC. RELATIVE TO ENGINEERING
                   AND INSPECTION SERVICES ON CONTRACT NO.
                   81-A, RED BANK INTERCEPTOR CONNECTOR SEWER,
                   FOR A CONSIDERATION OF SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND,
                   SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($66,754.00).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of an Addendum to the Agreement with Downs Engineering, 

       Inc. relative to engineering and inspection services on Contract
       No. 81-A, Red Bank Interceptor Connector Sewer, for a
       consideration of $66,754.00.
